Pumpkin Carving

After all these years we FINALLY carved some pumpkins with the girls. In the past it has always been about painting the pumpkins. I don't know why, I don't remember painting them as a kid...but that seems to be the thing we have done here with the girls.

As the girls get older I continue to see how different they are in so many ways! Olivia loves to get her hands dirty and make a mess...be it on herself, the kitchen cupboards, or the bathroom floor, she loves getting down and dirty! And if I don't know she is doing it, all the more fun! So Olivia dove right in and began cleaning the seeds out of her pumpkin. Here she is pretending to eat the pumpkin seeds!

Emma on the other hand doesn't like getting her hands dirty so much. She is much less likely to play with something mushy and if her hands get dirty, she wants them clean! Notice Emma's one hand is not touching the pumpkin...she is trying her best to carve one handed! LOL

And our finished product...again, Em is barely touching her pumpkin and Olivia is practically climbing on hers!!
