After being stuck in the house for 3 days in a row, it was time to get Olivia outdoors! Poor thing has been running a fever, missed school Wed, Thurs, and Friday, and basically been camping out on the couch all day. She woke up this morning, fever free, and ready to go!

With Halloween a week from today, we decided it was finally time to get out and find some pumpkins. There are a lot of great places to get pumpkins in Rochester, but many of them are turning into small Halloween carnivals with rides, face painting, games, etc and cost between $7 and $10 per person. All we want are a couple of pumpkins and don't want to pay $25 to get in plus the cost of the pumpkins. Call me cheap.

So the girls and I found our way to Powers Farm in Pittsford. We haven't been there in a few years and it was perfect. Let the search begin!

The girls had a good time wandering around the farm...there were goats and sheep, three tall tepees made out of straw, a hay ride, and lots of pumpkins!

By the end, Em was ready to go. There were a lot of bees flying around and Em had such a bad experience over the summer (stung 4 times) that she can't stand being around them. Olivia on the other hand, was oblivious to them and ready to pose by her pumpkin!
